The trip went pretty well. went down to Oxford, Mississippi, Home of William Faulkner. I haven’t read any of his works, but I have heard of him. We moseyed on along to a few other towns in Mississippi, stayed the night in a town, before coming back home. I apologize fr not getting the show out, but over the trip I did get to read a bit more of the Handbook: House Davion, and its not as bad as I thought it was initially. it is written by a different person, not Herbert Beas, or however you spell his name, who has done both of the other two. So thats one reason I may have initially disliked the book. Another reason might be is that since I’ve already read 2 Handbooks before this, the layout is kind of getting boring maybe. Or who knows…The new vehicle designs in the backs of these books have normally been good, but in this one only one of the three is too my liking. Maybe thats because I am not really a fan of very lightly armored and slow light support vehicles..Still a good buy for those of you who are into the Fed Suns, a history buff, or someone just interested in learning about all the various star empires. I can’t wait to see all of these Handbooks! The Periphery one should be very interesting.. I will do another review of the book once I finish reading the entire thing.
I would like to add more Battletech links to the Links page, so if you know of/run a Battletech related website that you want to be listed on the links page, then either send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or post a comment to the links page. And to those of you wondering how I did on my English paper about Battletech; I was unable to retrieve the paper from the teacher at the given time, but based on the fact that it was 20% of my final grade, and that I normally do fairly bad on long papers, that I probably got a C.
Till next post,
